A Welcome from The Headteacher
Introducing Mrs. Butler
Hello, I am Mrs Butler, the Headteacher at Adventure Wellbeing School. I am thrilled to share a bit about my journey as an educator. I began my teaching career in 2002 and have dedicated over twenty years to primary education. Throughout this time, I have had the pleasure of gaining extensive experience across EYFS, Key Stages 1 and 2. I have developed a deep understanding of how to support the academic and personal growth of all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
I genuinely believe that inspiring both teachers and children to embrace learning is key, especially in areas where pupils might feel apprehensive. I lead my team with a focus on fostering a supportive, collaborative, and high-achieving learning environment.
In addition to my work on the curriculum and teaching, I have spent significant time working with SEND pupils, ensuring that our educational strategies were tailored to help every child succeed. My inclusive approach, paired with empathy and understanding, ensures that each pupil feels valued and respected, no matter their needs.
As Headteacher, I bring my wealth of experience, passion for teaching, and strong leadership skills to create a nurturing online space. My vision is to ensure every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, making learning accessible and enjoyable for all.
